Now it’s like whatever. Didn’t plan anything for this year…so maybe it is progress. Idk idk a lot actually. See it and its like whatever…not gna talk much and make it not awkward. Yesterday, MoMAs chief curator of architecture and design broke his silence to speak with the Architects Newspaper, telling the journal that the choice was an administrative, rather than a curatorial one.

This upsets me, i know its no where near the demolition of Penn Station by McKim, Mead and White…but its tragic. The MOMA is a establishment that displays modern and contemporary art to the public to everyone. The MOMA was established as a museum that is open to the general public, a architectural manifesto of society at the time, educating all the classes. But today, what is governing the MOMA’s decisions? The American Fold Art Museum is on the best realized contemporary buildings of the 21st century. It is taught and used for precedent studies in an number of well-known architectural schools in the country. Why MOMA? MOMA, is this one of the mistakes made in history for which society will forever converse about?

no. i cannot doubt myself and my hand drawings

this is the perfect project for all handrawings. no wonder i was resisting to use the computer at all for this project. It the culture, the style, the design. its good. you made a good decision. all those fancy rendered sections, and colorful plans do not do anything for your project. In fact the stark black lines represent your ideas stronger then any computer rendering would. at least for this project.

There is a lot you can learn from kids. We only need to look a little harder. When we are afraid, what is the natural, humane thing to do? think of things we like…because “the Scared is scared of all the things we like”

We are all growing up so fast and scared of what things lay ahead of us, but scared? so are little kids and how do they handle it? I hope this video we had to watch for our Science, Technology and Society class will help.
